Cheever Australian Cattle Dog Senior Male in Clarksville, Tennessee

My story
Cheever is housebroken, and he never has accidents in the house. He is up to date on all vaccinations, shots etc. He is good with older kids, but can be temperamental with young children, the jerky movements of young kids startles him. He is good with other dogs, but no cats please. Cheever has not lived with cats but when on walks he will lunge at cats and will chase them when he is off leash. He obeys commands (sit, stay, lay down), is capable of being off leash and will come when called. He is not prone to running away, he quickly learns a property and then wants to stay close by. He is an older dog, about 11 years old, but he is in wonderful health. The vet has not diagnosed any age-related issues and he was just seen for his annual check-up in Feb. 2022. He is prone to anxiety and demonstrates this by barking, which can be disruptive. But if he is somewhere where he can be outside for long stretches of time this greatly reduces his anxiety
